A low boy (lowboy) is a heavy-haul trailer whose deck sits very low between the gooseneck and the rear wheels, letting it carry tall, heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, and transformers within height limits. Its deck takes more concentrated load and tracked-equipment abuse than almost any other trailer.

That calls for the thickest, densest boards in the catalog: full-sawn Apitong (Keruing) and kiln-dried Angelim Pedra rough boards in 2x8, 2x12, and heavy 3x12.
