Self-tapping Screws for Installing Hardwood Planks on flatbed trucks, trailers, drop decks, low boys, van bodies, dry vans and utility trailers. These Torx drive fasteners are made from C1022 steel, black phosphate coated for corrosion resistance, and have a thread cutting tip. Pre-drilling is still required. These screws are not recommended for ACQ (alkaline copper quaternary) pressure treated lumber - you must use stainless steel or galvanized steel for ACQ pressure treated lumber.
